For every question, assign: • Best answer = 3 points • Partial answer = 2 points • Not ready = 1 point • “Not applicable” (if used) = 2 points or exclude Enter the 18–19 multiple-choice questions covering: pagination, word count/flow, rhyme, illustration notes, and child testing. Maximum score = 57. Score bands: 48–57 = Submission-Ready 38–47 = Very Close 28–37 = Not Yet Ready Under 28 = Early Draft Add automated feedback text for each band telling writers what to revise next and whether they are ready to submit or should keep developing.
